Both of these are sitting on the same lot in Aberdeen, MD.

The Riviera looks like an abandoned project... seems like fresh paint, but the trim hasn’t been put back on and much of the interior is dismantled and piled inside the car. (It does have buckets and a console and what appears to be the coolest automatic floor shifter EVER, though.) The Newport, though it looks well-used, seems like it could be driven as is. Interior is relatively clean and has nice blue velour.

I need a barn and a budget.

Y’know, I didn’t even notice that. I was kind of in a hurry because my brat kid was in the car complaining.

I have always been mesmerized by the quarter panels of fuselage-era Mopar coupes.

I have an itch to refresh the suspension and drive across the country solving crimes.

I note that the Chrysler is a 2-door. Those doors probably weigh more than a Smart car.

Me too. The damn quarter panels are like 8 feet long!!!!! I’ve always loved them. My grandfather owned a ‘70 Chrysler 300 Hurst Edition. Sold it before I was born :(

These are two of the best looking cars of the 70’s!
